Miniature Market

Sonic Shield

Miniature Market is one of the largest gaming superstores in St. Louis, but they were also dealing with a very big sound problem. When hosting gaming events, more than 100 gamers fill the 2,200 square-foot event space, so along with the good times came a lot of unwanted echo and reverberation. The company needed to find a solution that would reduce noise disruption for the guests and provide a quieter event space.

Miniature Market turned to Sonic Shield, a distributor of REVRB™ Acoustical Panels: Traditional Series. Sonic Shield was able to determine the appropriate square footage of REVRB™ Acoustical Panels needed to reduce the noise within the space based on the existing building materials and by factoring in any other sound absorbent furniture or materials currently in the space. Offering a variety of custom sizes and an abundance of fabric colors and styles, REVRB™ Acoustical Panels provide seamless stylistic integration into the space. Through a thorough and diligent process, Sonic Shield and Miniature Market collaborated to decide on the best sizes, colors, and placement of the REVRB™ Acoustical Panels to solve the sound issue. Sonic Shield shipped the REVRB™ Acoustical Panels directly to the client and a local installer easily hung the panels according to the layout they were provided. After the project was completed Miniature Market was fully satisfied with the drastic reduction of echo and reverberation within the event space. Owners of the Miniature Market were, “blown away with how much sound these have absorbed.”
